The\u00a0discussion is conducted as follows: a student presents a problem that has arisen in one of the\u00a0many traditional communities in Israel (Muslim, Christian, Bedouin, Druze, new immigrants\u00a0from Ethiopia and the Caucasus, certain religious communities, etc.). The problems are\u00a0drawn from the student’s family, from his or her work as a teacher or as an educational\u00a0counselor, as well as from other sources. A multi-cultural dialogue develops around the\u00a0problem in question, in which the participants suggest solutions they are familiar with from\u00a0their culture, and the author adds the Western perspective derived from his experience as a\u00a0clinical psychologist.
